Using the age old method of Olive Oil Pressing, the program reviews the Chanukah story and its observances. With its tactile Hands-on segments, its educational value, and the 'excitment factor' the program adds to your school, the Olive Press Workshop is a perfect 'exclamation point' added to your Chanukah cirriculum.

Duration: 35 minute Presentation
(allow 15 to reset between programs)
Cost: $225 for initial presentation; $75 each additional

Program Overview
Program consists of
Introduction- Interactive multimedia review of Chanukah Story and introduction to olive oil pressing
Hands-on - Students will pit raw olives, selecting the olives by color and determining ripeness. Students will fashion cotton wicks.
Olive Press Demonstration: The presenter will press and refine the olives and will proceed to light the Chanukiya with the olive oil and wicks made during the program.
