Chabad of the Pacific Palisades is a warm Jewish home where every person is welcome, valued and invited to take part. We bring Jewish life to our community with joy, meaning and genuine connection, whether you come every week, once a year or are walking in for the first time. Inspired by the Rebbe

Our work is guided by the vision and love of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory. The Rebbe taught that every person matters, every act of goodness counts, and every Jew deserves a door that is open to them, no matter their background, knowledge or level of observance. That spirit shapes everything we do: unconditional love, joyful Judaism, and a community where everyone belongs. We are proud to be part of the Rebbe's network of thousands of Chabad centers worldwide, each one a home for Jewish life in its community.

Rebuilding Together

After the Palisades fires, our community is standing strong and rebuilding- together. More than ever, Chabad is a safe place to call home: doors open, hearts open, here for every neighbor finding their way back. However the fires touched your life, you don't have to go through it alone. This community is your family, and we're rebuilding it side by side.

Serving Our Greater Community

Our commitment to kindness reaches beyond the Jewish community. Through our nonsectarian social-service and humanitarian programs, people of every faith and background are invited to join us in helping those in need and bringing greater compassion and goodness to our shared community.

Our Campus

Our home at 17315 Sunset Blvd brings prayer, learning, friendship and family life together in the heart of Pacific Palisades. It is home to our synagogue and the Palisades Jewish Early Childhood Center, with spaces that fill throughout the week with children, families, classes, celebrations and community gatherings. Our Early Childhood Center now welcomes families at two locations: Palisades and Westside in Santa Monica. More than buildings, these are places to walk in, feel at ease and belong.

What We Do

Jewish life here takes many forms: Shabbat and holiday services, High Holidays, the Palisades Jewish Early Childhood Center, hands-on learning through JEC Hebrew School, Friendship Circle and teen programming, women's programs, adult education, and personal bar and bat mitzvah preparation. Each program is built to make Jewish life meaningful, accessible and joyful at every age and stage. Start wherever feels right, we would love to welcome you.
