About the Course

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s easy for our lives to become spiritual deserts, lacking meaningful connection and intentional thought. As we rush through our daily routines, ticking tasks off our to-do lists, we can feel overwhelmed by anxiety and lose sight of our deeper thirst for meaning and connection. This course will explore how prayer acts as a grounding force in our lives, enabling us to channel our desire for connection and spiritual satisfaction into tangible action while deepening our relationship with G-d.

How to Quench Spiritual Thirst
Living on a Prayer, Lesson 1
May 29, 2025
You know that feeling of happiness that comes with clicking "add to cart" and eagerly tearing open a package the moment it arrives… only to realize how quickly the feeling fades, leaving you craving more? In a world driven by material desires and instant gratification, it's challenging to nurture deep, lasting fulfillment. In this lesson, we will explore what our souls are genuinely seeking as we chase physical desires and how prayer can fulfill our need for lasting confidence, authentic connection, and spiritual satiety.
Weight-Lifting for the Soul
Living on a Prayer, Lesson 2
June 5, 2025
What is the higher purpose of prayer? Do our words truly have a cosmic impact? In this lesson, we will explore why the angels above await our heartfelt prayers, how sharing our challenges with G-d can make our relationship stronger, and how we can channel our physical desires toward spiritual transformation.
How to Meditate in Prayer
Living on a Prayer, Lesson 3
June 12, 2025
Have you ever wondered what to think about while praying? It can be challenging to silence the noise, embrace the stillness, and reflect on our relationship with G-d. In this lesson, we will explore how to meditate during prayer and learn how to awaken our inner desire to converse with G-d.
Channeling the Physical into Spiritual
Living on a Prayer, Lesson 4
June 19, 2025
Do your prayers sometimes sound like an Amazon wishlist? Does G-d really want to hear our prayers about everyday desires that seem trivial in the grand scheme of things? In this lesson, we will explore how to transform our physical longings into opportunities for spiritual growth and discover how cultivating compassion for ourselves and others can deepen our relationship with G-d.
