Rebitzen Weisberg, Chana, you too have been an amazing human being since you were a young girl...and you really BROUGHT OUT all of Orit's light with the quality of your questions...but truly, it takes one to know one! And Orit, wow...Hashem is clearly with you! Reply

Orit is the most extraordinary person!!! I can see how she, by exuding positivity and light, can help people cope with and move forward after tragedy. She is Israel's secret weapon! Reply

May we all be blessed with her attitude and perspective on life and hardships! She's a true, real inspiration. Infectious smile and lightness of heart. No wonder she's in such high demand as a speaker. Reply

I loved the way that you conducted the interview, the way you allowed her to speak, and the questions you asked. We reside in Australia and love the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, we continue to pray for the nation of Israel and its people,we have been greatly inspired and blessed by Orit and her sharing. We look forward to her bestseller translated into English. We look forward to many more interviews, and are so pleased we came across the interview by chance. Keep up the excellent work, blessings Calvin and Laura. Reply

Thank you! Indeed, it was sunny today (well, yesterday), and the temperature from frost in the morning, reached up to even +10 deg. C! Almost spring! (Although the snow is still here and there.)
I am a goy, but interested in the truth, That's why I have abandoned the catho(ho)lic church some 40 years ago, but the synagogue is still unavailable for me. They don't want me there, and, since I don't thrust upon anybody, I only follow in the internet.
I've also listened to much of Rabbi Skobac. He is really brilliant and veeeery inspiring. I strongly recommend his lectures/sermons! Reply

A Jewish sheep breeder (of Jacob sheep) explained to me that a black sheep was one that was unwanted. Black wool tends to be coarser and not as fine and nice as white wool. It also can’t be dyed. So black sheep were not desired. Reply

in response to Deanne:

I once read the black sheep in a toxic family are usually the ones who see through everyone else's b.s....so maybe this is where the expressssion 'you can't pull wool over his/her eyes' comes from.
The black sheep are rare so they are the most precious. Reply

Thanks for this interview! Orit is very inspiring, and good questions were asked.
I've lost a lot of close people to thyroid disease that wasn't diagnosed and treated well,
and I suffer from it, too. After a lot of grief support (some of it religious, including
good articles on Chabad.org), I agree with Orit that we don't know why G-d does
what He does sometimes but there are reasons that maybe we just can't understand--
but we should try to do good & help others using what we've been through. In that
spirit, I am working on a petition to help those who suffer with low & high thyroid problems
get better testing, treatment, research, etc. It helps me to work on this, and I hope
one day it will make things better for others. Reply
