you gave some important "dates" like 9 AV, 17 Tammuz, 10 Tevet. Could you supply some history to very important dates, "Temple-history" maybe, or other Reply

Raymond West Hollywood June 28, 2026
in response to Erika:

The 9th of Av is the saddest day on the calender for us Jews. It is the day that Jewish tradition says that many tragedies struck us, such as the sin of the spies, both Holy Temples being destroyed, the edict of the Spanish Inquisition of 1492, the start of World War I which of course eventually led to the devastating World War II, and so on. The 17th of Tammuz is when the siege of Jerusalem began that led to its destruction three weeks later on the 9th of Av Reply
